How it Started...
Divine Delight Christian Assembly was started in the year 2008, by pastor Sugumaran, a zealous servant of God. who wanted to serve the great God of heaven and earth in his own little ways. With the small piece of land that is family purchased in the 6th street of Padi Pudhu Nagar, he built this small tabernacle of worship for the Lord. His whole desire was to tell the people of the neighborhood about the love of Jesus for them.
How it's going...
- God indeed blessed his efforts and around 500 families with varied needs started to seek the Lord with truth at this space. People started to witness the mighty works of God, through miracles, healing, freedom from sin and deliverance from bondage of Satan here, through the resurrected power of JESUS.
- The people who believed is that Jesus was the source of Salvation from their sins, put their faith in Jesus’ name, yielded their lives to him, got baptized at the same place and began to worship the Lord with spirit and truth.
- The vision of this fellowship is to enable people to know the real God, help them know His love for them, grow in His word and to put a fervent zeal in their hearts to seek Him and be a witness for Him.
- A team of elders from the church are all set to help anyone who feels life is a struggle and is craving for a spirit filled counselling, prayer session and home visits to uphold you in Christ, the idea is to help you find your freedom from anything that is stealing your peace, through JESUS CHRIST, the deliverer.
